Breakfast At Torchy’s

This painting probably needs very little explanation. It was created for, and it won an art competition focused on Audrey Hepburn. This was my entry, Breakfast at Torchy’s, a parody of one of her best-known films, Breakfast at Tiffany’s.

I read that the little black dress she wore in the movie sold at Christie’s for over $900,000, and her apartment in the film sold in 2015 for $7,400,000.

Maybe I should see if Torchy’s Tacos would be interested?

Update: But before I could pick up the phone, make an appointment, or drive to Austin and knock on the CEO’s door, the painting sold to a famous collector in California. (See photo for sale information)
