America

This is an older piece that I wasn’t going to include in the portfolio, but once I’d put in John Wayne and Jesus, America just seemed to be the next logical choice.

After Reeves Gallery sold the first piece of my art, they asked for whatever else I had, and one piece I gave them was this one. It also sold, together with several others, all of which are covered on this website.

There are also new pieces since then covered on this website, some of which they bought from me, and others that I have. Reeves is a great gallery, and there comes a time in every artist’s life when they decide to take over their own marketing.

Several of the pieces I sold them are on their website or on 1st Dibs, Artsy, or other online galleries. The rest, and new paintings, will be on this website.

The photo to the left is from 1st Dibs, one of the online galleries that Reeves works with. I don’t know at this point who the buyer was, which can be one drawback of not doing your own marketing. (See photo for sale information) Dimensions: 48 in x 36 in.
